Hardware requirements for QSeq are largely dependent upon whether you will be doing RNA-Seq or CNV analysis, or if you will be performing ChIP-Seq or miRNA analysis. Please see the following sections for technical recommendations for each type of project.
Memory and hard disk requirements will vary depending on the size and nature of the data and on the settings used. In addition to these recommendations, users will need sufficient disk space available for their own data and results. Note that internet access is also required for installation, and recommended for genome and annotation downloads.

* Note that ArrayStar and QSeq were designed to run on Windows operating systems only. However, you can run ArrayStar and QSeq on a Macintosh with an Intel processor by using Parallels Desktop with Windows 7 or higher installed. **Windows XP is not supported for very large data sets, such as the Human projects listed above.
For a network version of QSeq, please see our DNASTAR License Server Technical Requirements. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
