Protein Sequence and Structure Analysis

Protean 3D is DNASTAR's application for protein sequence and structure analysis. Using the integrated views within the software, you can view macromolecular sequence, structure and prediction methods simultaneously. You can also use the Motion Library to view animations of protein conformational changes. Protean 3D also enables you to:

Change the rendering, orientation and lighting on a structure

Predict secondary structure characteristics, prosite and protease pattern matches, and B-cell epitopes

View annotations from PDB structure files and protein sequence files

Export images and movie files from protein structures and animations
