Automated Virtual Cloning

DNASTAR's Lasergene Core Suite software offers an easy-to-use approach for automated virtual cloning through its SeqBuilder application. Simply select the sequence you wish to use as an insert and choose your vector(s), and SeqBuilder will automatically construct the virtual clone for you. Additional features of the software include:

  • Support for all major cloning methods, including restriction enzyme cloning, TA cloning, Gateway and Gateway MultiSite cloning, and Directional TOPO cloning techniques
  • The ability to use either the cataloged vectors provided, or your own custom vectors with ease
  • The option to export your completed clones to GenVision to create additional, publication-quality visualizations
