Access DNASTAR Software on the Cloud
DNASTAR uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the supporting infrastructure for our DNASTAR Cloud software applications. AWS’s world-class, highly secure data centers utilize state-of-the art electronic surveillance and multi-factor access control systems. The AWS virtual infrastructure has been designed to provide optimum availability while ensuring complete customer privacy and segregation.
Whether you use DNASTAR software on AWS using DNASTAR’s Amazon credentials or your own Amazon credentials, your data will be private.
In May 2013, the United States Department of Health and Human Services granted AWS an Agency Authority to Operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, which is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. The security analysis was performed by an independent organization for the benefit of the United States government and enables US government agencies to use AWS and trust the security measures put in place by Amazon for AWS.
If you have further questions about the security of your data on the Amazon Cloud or using DNASTAR Cloud software, please contact DNASTAR’s technical support.
