DNASTAR Lasergene Compliance with United States Government Configuration Baseline (USGCB)
DNASTAR has certified its entire DNASTAR Lasergene 11 software package, including Lasergene Core Suite 11, DNASTAR Navigator 11, ArrayStar 11, QSeq 11, and SeqMan NGen 11 for conformance to the United States Government Configuration Baseline (USGCB) security guidelines (formerly known as the Federal Desktop Core Configuration, or FDCC) that have been developed and issued by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology, US Department of Commerce. The guidelines were developed to provide uniform security parameters for all software being used on desktop and laptop computers that are tied into networks by US government agencies.
As part of the process DNASTAR has certified that the products listed above function properly on computer networks that have USGCB security settings on them.
