We recently sat down with Dr. Steve Darnell, the lead scientist for DNASTAR’s structural biology software development initiative, to discuss the value of protein structure prediction software. We are seeing a massive and ever-growing number of protein sequences being identified. Very few of these proteins are converted to structures via x-ray crystallography and, even then, there are limitations on crystallized structures for use in advanced applications; the need for accurate structure prediction software has never been greater. Read our interview to learn more about the value of protein structure prediction software.
