LASERGENE COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL DESKTOP CORE CONFIGURATION (FDCC)

DNASTAR has certified its Lasergene version 8.0 products (XP and Vista platforms) for conformance to Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) security guidelines that have been developed and issued by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology, US Department of Commerce. The guidelines were developed to provide uniform security parameters for all software being used on desktop and laptop computers that are tied into networks by US Government agencies.

As part of the process DNASTAR has certified that its Lasergene product functions properly on computer networks that have FDCC security settings on them.
