Settings panels allow you to optimize the look, contents and layout of the MegAlign Pro window. To learn what can be done within each panel and the expandable “sections” within each panel, click the links below.
The expand bars used to open panel areas have a “hamburger menu” on the right end of the bar.

| Collapse Others | Collapses all expand bars in the panel except the one whose menu was used to choose this command. |
| Collapse All | Collapses all expand bars in the panel. |
| Available only for expand bars in the Style panel | |
| Apply Sequence Style | Lets you choose and apply a file of custom settings for the section controlled by this expand bar. See Style panel for more information. |
| Save Sequence Style | Saves the current settings in the section controlled by this expand bar. See Style panel for more information. |
| Save Sequence Style as Default | Saves the current settings in the section controlled by this expand bar to use as default settings in future projects. See Style panel for more information. |
| Restore DNASTAR Default Sequence Style | Restores the default DNASTAR settings for the section controlled by this expand bar. See Style panel for more information. |
