Note: This topic is not applicable to BAM-based projects.
To choose a new genetic code:
1) Select Project > Genetic Codes > [Code Name] to see a list of available codes. The active genetic code is preceded by a checkmark.
2) Click the desired code to select it.
Note: If the code is not in the expected location, you will be prompted to locate it. See Locating a Missing Genetic Code File for more information.
To change the list of codes displayed in the menu:
1) Select Project > Genetic Codes > Modify Menu. The Genetic Codes dialog is displayed, listing all of the available codes on the left, and all of the codes current listed in the menu on the right. (By default, all available codes are displayed.)
2) To add a code to the menu, select it in the Available list and then click Show.
3) To remove a code from the menu, select it in the Menu list and then click Remove.
4) Clicking Revert changes all code assignments to the last saved versions.
5) Click OK to keep the changes.
