Export features from a Feature Table by selecting File > Save Selected Features. One or more features must be selected for this option to be available. Features in a Feature Table can be exported in the following three formats:
•Tab-delimited text file (.txt): The selected data as it appears in the Feature Table is exported as a tab-delimited text file.
•File of filenames (.fof): The directory paths for the sequences containing the selected features and the range of the feature sequence is exported as a file of filenames.
•FASTA (.fas): The sequences for all of the selected features are exported as a FASTA file.
Note for Windows users: In order to view correctly formatted text reports, we recommend using Wordpad, Notepad++, or Microsoft Excel, and not the default Windows text editor, Notepad.
