In the Alignment View, there are two methods for selecting (highlighting) residues in the constituent sequences or in the consensus sequence:
•Hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse along the portion of sequence you wish to highlight.
•Click on the left-most residue you wish to highlight. Hold down the Shift key and click on the right-most residue.
After making a selection, you can easily navigate to its beginning or end:
•On Windows, click Enter to move to the beginning or Shift+Enter to move to the end.
•On Macintosh, click Shift+Enter to move to the beginning or Alt+Enter to move to the end.
