Rename a contig

Contigs can only be renamed in .sqd projects. To rename a contig:

1. Do either of the following:
   
   
   • In the Explorer panel, click on the contig row you wish to rename. Then choose Edit > Rename Contig.
     
     
   • In the Explorer panel, right-click on the contig row and choose Rename.

2. Overwrite the existing name with the new one and press OK.
