DNASTAR is a leading developer of software for molecular biologists. Established in 1984, our products are used by pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and clinical researchers in more than 90 countries.

Software Engineers
Responsible for analyzing users’ needs to design, develop, test, and maintain computer applications software or systems. They may also be project team leads, depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements include 5 years of applicable industry experience, strong communication skills and solid computer capabilities, including proficiency in Java and C++.
Sales Coordinators
Responsible for direct interaction with customers and leads to achieve individual, group, and corporate sales goals, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, and supporting other team members. Requirements include a B.S. degree in molecular biology, or a related life science field, and the ability to prospect, develop leads, build new relationships and close new business, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Some domestic and international travel is required.
Senior Scientists
Responsible for staying abreast of current scientific trends and helping DNASTAR design and develop products that are responsive to those trends. You will be expected to take a lead role in new product design and grant writing and provide outstanding product specifications in a variety of formats. You will also be expected to give periodic scientific presentations. Requirements include an advanced degree in Molecular Biology or related field (PhD preferred), 5 years of applicable industry experience, strong communication skills and solid computer capabilities.
Internships
Often available in the areas of Quality Assurance software testing, Software Development and Marketing. Positions are available year-round (full or part-time) or summer-only (full-time) Prospective QA and Marketing interns generally have life science backgrounds. Software Development interns are typically computer science students with an interest in molecular biology.
