Which Lasergene package do I need for protein analysis?

Lasergene Protein includes the Protean 3D application, which offers comprehensive protein sequence and structure analysis, including epitope prediction, structural alignments, and protein stability analysis. Lasergene Protein licenses also include bundled access to integrated modeling workflows through NovaCloud, supporting protein structure prediction, antibody modeling, and protein docking. Prediction results flow directly into Protean 3D for downstream visualization and analysis, with additional prediction tokens available for purchase as needed. NovaLocal is also available for organizations requiring locally hosted workflows. We offer both academic and commercial pricing for convenient annual licenses, which include upgrades and access to our technical support team.

How do I access the protein workflows in Lasergene?

Our protein analysis workflows can be accessed by clicking on the Protein Analysis and Modeling tab in DNASTAR Navigator.

What file types are supported for protein analysis?

Protean 3D supports the following protein sequence file formats: *.aa, *.fap, *.fas, *.fasta, *.gp, *.gbk, *.sbd, and *.pro. Protean 3D also supports protein structure files from the Protein Data Bank (*.pdb, *.ent, *.pdb.gz, *.ent.gz, *.zip, *.txt), as well as structure files created by Protean 3D (*.structure) or one of our Nova Applications (*.novafold, *.antibody, *.novadock).
