DNASTAR Celebrates 40 Years of Innovation

    December 3, 2024 | Lasergene

Forty years, infinite possibilities

For 40 years, DNASTAR has been empowering scientists worldwide with powerful tools to analyze and interpret genetic data. This is an extraordinarily milestone for any business, and especially for a software company!

The same year we launched, for instance, Windows 1.0 and the first Macintosh operating system were both released.

Computers have made steady advancement over the past 40 years (see photos), and so has our software. With four decades of groundbreaking innovation to build on, we plan to continue creating the cutting-edge solutions that will shape the next generation of scientific discovery.

To commemorate our anniversary, let’s revisit some key moments that have defined this era.
