Data disappears from GenVision Pro’s Variants view column after sorting

Version Affected: Lasergene 18.1.0

Version Fixed: Lasergene 18.1.1

Issue: When a SeqMan NGen assembly with Variant Annotation Database (VAD) information is open in the GenVision Pro, sorting the Variants table by clicking a VAD column header causes all data in that column to disappear.

Resolution: This issue was fixed in Lasergene 18.1.1, released November 3, 2025. To resolve this issue, update to the latest version of Lasergene by going to the My Licenses page of our website. If you need assistance, please contact us at 866-511-5090 or [email protected].
