DNASTAR offers four separately-licensed services that integrate with Protean 3D:
- Predict a protein structure with NovaFold (powered by I-TASSER) or NovaFold AI (powered by AlphaFold 2)
- Predict antibody interactions with NovaFold Antibody
- Explore protein docking with NovaDock
- Create or find variants using Protein Design
Protein Design is always run through the Protean 3D interface. Depending on the type of license, the other services can be run:
- On the cloud from within the Protean 3D interface
- On the NovaCloud through the DNASTAR website
- On a local computer through the command-line.
Regardless of where the prediction is initiated, the results are always viewed through the Protean 3D interface.
